ARE YOU AT RISK FOR COLON CANCER?

Hydration is essential for an effective colonoscopy prep.
The OsmoPrep Tablet dosing helps with proper hydration during colonoscopy preparation.2
Colon cleansing causes the body to lose fluids quickly, which can lead to dehydration. To stay hydrated, fluids need to
be replaced, so it's recommended that you drink plenty of clear liquids right up to your colonoscopy procedure. It's also
important to stay hydrated after your procedure, so continue drinking liquids.
By simply following the
OsmoPrep dosing instructions, which recommend taking each dose with an 8-oz glass of clear
liquid, you can ensure that you have replaced the proper amount of fluid. Drinking the recommended amount of liquid
also assists in the flushing process of OsmoPrep, resulting in a more effective preparation. If you have any questions
about how much to drink, ask your healthcare provider.
It is important to drink plenty of clear liquids before, during, and after the colon-prep process. A clear liquid is any beverage you can see through that does not contain red or purple colors.
